Tonight we began our new, second Tellurian Music Series with a performance by Gfire. Gfire hails from the city of Austin, Texas in Tellus’ United States. Gfire played to a sold out audience of nagara and tourists from all around Mother, many of whom travelled to Port Outreach especially for the show.

Lighting and environmental effects were provided by Lumin of the Lufton Collective, with a post-show DJ set by Theo Drumsthemoon.

Although the show is over, you can listen to Gfire perform “Red” on your emkay or other computing system.

We still have tickets for future performances in the series, and we’re always looking for more artists from Mother or Tellus to appear at Lufton Runner. Contact booking@luftonrunner.com for information.

Welcome to Lufton Online

Welcome to the new home of Lufton Runner on the Internet. For those from Tellus, or nagara who have been hiding in a cave somewhere, Lufton is one of Port Outreach’s most well-known live music venues and bars, and arguably its most eclectic. Lufton is located in Port Outreach’s Harborside; its waterfront location boasts one of the finest views of the Lightning Towers, visible directly behind the main stage.

Lufton is considered by many to be the home of the Gurge Rock movement. We were the first to host the Broken Gaff, and they placed here almost once per phase for the entirety of their career. In addition, Lufton gained notoriety five years ago for its first Tellurian Music Series, which brought dozens of artists from Tellus to Mother to perform for the pleasure of our nagara.

Almost five years since the tragic death of all members of the Bellerophon Trio forced an end to the first series, the Lufton is proud to once again play host to some of the finest musicians from another world. With improved communication and travel provided by Continuous Labs and in honor of our 20th anniversary, we felt it was a perfect time to revive the series. While some argue that travel between worlds is foolhardy, we salute the bravery — and the talent — of our visiting musicians. Our second series begins later tonight — stay tuned!
